Pastor Bobby Thaggard has been preaching since his teens and has been in pastoral ministry since 2015. He served on the leadership staff for several years at Holy Temple Church under Pastor JR Williams. Presently, Pastor Bobby serves as Senior Pastor of Lighthouse Ministries Church in Jackson, MS.

Pastor Bobby is a native of Jackson, MS. He is known as Mr. B in his line of profession where he provides automotive services alongside his father and mother who are the owners of Willie’s Auto Repair.

An effective communicator of God’s Word, Pastor Bobby is widely known for his practical and illustrative teaching style which helps people apply the timeless truths of Scripture to their everyday lives. He serves as a mentor to many men and believes in the power of building strong families.

He and his wife, Denise (Lady Dee), have been married for 32 years. They are the proud parents of two adult children who work alongside them in ministry, Zakiya Thaggard and Dr. Zachary Thaggard.

First Lady Denise Thaggard is a dedicated educator and leader with more than 18 years of experience serving scholars, teachers, and families. She currently serves as Assistant Principal of Walton Elementary School, where she strengthens teaching and learning through coaching, modeling, and instructional support.

Her career began at Lake Elementary School, teaching Pre-K, Kindergarten, and First Grade, as well as serving as an interventionist. She later advanced into administration at Pecan Park Elementary School before joining Walton Elementary, where she continues to lead with excellence, compassion, and vision.

Mrs. Thaggard holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from Belhaven University, along with an Educational Specialist Degree from Liberty University. She has completed all doctoral coursework and is actively working toward the completion of her dissertation.

Beyond her academic and professional accomplishments, First Lady Denise Thaggard is a woman of grace, wisdom, and faith. She faithfully serves alongside her husband, Pastor Bobby Thaggard, uplifting ministries, encouraging families, and supporting communities with excellence and integrity. Her life reflects her belief in the transformative power of education, leadership, and God-centered service.
